Santee Saxophones is a very small company that offers high-end custom saxophones and accessories.  It started in late December of 2005 by saxophonist, educator, and author Aaron Santee.

Aaron's goal is to offer the saxophone community the best playing, most responsive, and beautiful looking custom saxophones possible.  The sound has been the focus from day one, and when you play-test a horn, you'll notice a difference - the tonal characteristics of your mouthpiece/ligature/reed combination will be enhanced to a degree, due to the design that maximizes vibration of the instrument (see "Design Features" for information).

Santee saxophones are definitely not "run of the mill" horns, they are uniquely designed to maximize tonal response, the keywork is designed for optimal playing comfort, and there are several customization options offered for every saxophone model.  Aaron's designs are what he believes many dedicated saxophonists want, because these features are what he's wanted for over twenty years, and he's doing his absolute best with the resources he has to provide this to others.  1 Corinthians 10:31 sums up the bigger picture... "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.".  Santee has had the great opportunity to be a saxophone design consultant for a major Taiwanese saxophone manufacturer close to ten years ago, and looking back, every contact, every event, brought this all together, and God gets the praise for every opportunity He has given.  There's much more that can be done, and we'll see what doors open, but regardless, again, God deserves the glory and praise for the opportunities / experiences.
