My latest book, "Jazz Improv Lab
Dominant 7", is an effective and efficient tool for developing your
improvisational skills. This book was designed to be used with

The book's first
section discusses materials to practice and tips on how to
experiment with materials such as chord segments, extensions,
patterns. For the second section, I consolidated onto
one page per key (for easy reference), materials to use when
practicing improvising with the accompaniment MP3 CD (see the
B7 excerpt at the bottom of this page).
The accompaniment
MP3 CD,
"Jazz Improv
Lab Dominant 7 Tracks", consists of 12 accompaniment tracks
(one for each
Dominant 7 key).
There are ZERO
chord changes,
you stay in one key for 5 1/2 minutes per track! (or forever
if you set your audio player on "repeat").
You can take your time,
work on your patterns, your technique, your improvisational
creativity, with no pressure - one
Dominant 7 key at a time! :) This book and MP3 CD is an
excellent tool for beginning to professional improvisers alike!
